Lhasa Drepung Monastry of Tibet
The Tibet is very rich in gumbas & monastries,as most of the peoples of tibe
have religious value and noms.About thousands small & big monastries really made the tibet wellknown in allover the world.Among them Lhasa Drepung Monastry is one of the wellknown monastry of tibet which furtherextended some part of India.
Drepung Monastry is one of the greatest Buddhist temples in Lhasa,Tibet together withsera and Ganden Monastries.This temple was originally built in 1416 when the Buddhist Gelu sect was in the golden time.The Drepung once was the most magnificent monastry and
had the most monks.It is also one of the central attraction for travelers.
